Is it really that bad?

Reading the SMH late last night (article: http://www.smh.com.au/world/modern-mata-hari-leaves-kremlin-critics-exposed-20100428-tsem.html) I came across an article regarding Ekaterina Gerasimova  - a hot model who is an undercover secret agent bedding political foes of the Kremlin and implicating them in compromising positions via images and video clips. She almost seems to be fit a James Bond villian like the one we see in Golden Eye - KGB v the Free West. Case in point below.

What I want to ask is: is it really that bad?

I imagine being implicated with her certainly can’t improve the Kremlin’s chances of discrediting a political foe. For example - say our favorite girl Ekaterina bedded doomed WA minister Troy Buswell - I think there would be a strong element in our Australian society cheering him on for such a feat - WHATEVER the consequences. And I am ready to put my money on the fact that he would have still kept his job - thumbs up all around.

Basic point I am making is that simply having this girl swinging around can’t be doing the damages that the Kremlin was hoping for - unless Russian girls are so hot, that she is considered to be ugly anyway.

But if Australia was to adopt such a tactic - we have a secret weapon that trumps them all. And that’s Pauline Hanson.

Please explain.
