Red Red Skyyy…
So on the 23rd September 2009, I like everyone else in Sydney woke up to a somewhat apocalyptic red sky. It freaked me out big time, opening my eyes at 6am to see the sky an absolute pure red. For the first minute or so I thought I was dreaming, good rub of the eyes confirmed I was not. Dad came jumping in…CHECKK IT OUT!!!
Ofcourse, had I kept up with current affairs, I definitely would have been educated on the impending dust storm. But alas, blame it on the string of assessments and assignments over the past few weeks.
Anyway, I am posting some of the pics that I woke up to - nothing like the epic shots taken of the Harbour foreshore and the CBD, just what it was like at my house. There’s plenty of awesome shots out there of CBD in a red and orange/yellow hue. Just google it:).
It was pretty amazing.
And no, none of these shots are photoshopped.
